Relationship - Reo

Each person on earth is an opportunity to share life. Sometimes you feel like avoiding everyone, with their problems, issues and irritations. This makes you wonder why do you need people...
It is almost like every person is a ‘point of life’, almost like an electrical outlet, where you can make contact with the ‘electricity of life’. The act of sharing, the relationship you create, the life you talk about is what it is all about. Not being independent, but sharing with the other people on this earth.

Secondhand car vs. executive jet - Reo

In the language of the universe there is no difference between a secondhand car & an executive jet – it’s all energy aynyway!everything is made up of atoms which can be attracted and repelled through the forces you put out into the universe. It is only the connotation attached to a jet that keeps you from setting that as your goal (you will never afford it, you are not supposed to own a jet, how is that possible etc.) So next time you are setting goals for yourself- think universally!

What do you want - Reo

How do you know what is best for you? You being the subjective judge for yourself...it’s like saying I will grade my own exam paper I wrote...not really effective! So when you say you want something because you believe it is for your best interest...how sure are you?more importantly, how can you possible be the judge?say you want to win the lotto- R10 million... You think it will solve all your problems from where you are standing now. But if you get that R10 million- your reality will change, because now your reality includes R10 million. Thus your reality now shifts, and it is not the reality that was before you had the R10 million. Now your reality includes new aspects like Tax implications, interest rates etc. So actually you don’t know what that money will bring you, because it will change your reality!...How do you know what is best for you?

...

Still reading the shack, came across the concept of relationship with others. The idea that you have to give up something of yourself to experience the true value of the other person. Lose some of that fierce independence- quite interesting

Thought-Reo

So I just made a commitment to write something of my own everyday- not just copy & paste. Busy reading the shack- whether you buy into it or not, the concept of letting go and just being-amazing. Serving other people, without hierarchy. It’s the idea of everyone has to do it or no-one will do it...still busy, that book is full of food for thought!

Training - Reo

Training should be fun and positive it should add something to your day not take away from it. You want to be outside in nature, using your talents feeling alive. Every time you go out the door you should want to, loving it, being excited and just go. No worries about injuries, fatigue, how much training, schedule. All the data should just be left to things that need data-like work. Like those natural people who just run in the woods, or next to the ocean on the beach.  Then just dive into that blue water and swim to that secluded spot where you would catch up on your tan. Its about going where you want to. When you are out on the bike and you can just pick a spot and go. No matter what you find you can negotiate, whether it is rocks or mud or steep or downhill. You can fly when you want to, coast when you want to. Admire the sunshine, let it all in. Draw inspiration from it. So you come back better than you left. And then when someone says let’s go do this race or trail or swim- you can. You can keep up, breathing easy. You can talk about the experience or race for the gun, you have the choice. You don’t have to worry about whether you can make it or what you did yesterday. You still push the boundaries, you still cross the finish line, tyres screeching, dust cloud-engulfed, covered in mud, picking twigs out of your bike, dripping with sweat shouting ‘o yeah!’. When you run you sprint to that tree or mountaintop like a kid, lungs bursting, laughing and jumping over rocks, roots and through rivers, splashing water like a gazelle-light on your feet.

New blog - Reo

This blog was created as an idea to have a collection of inspiration, whether authored by other people (who have more experience than me, one should never be too proud to learn something new) or myself. I will post all inspiration I come across, always trying to reference the author in question as I do not want any legal ramifications. This site is started with only positive energy, no evil thoughts of making money or garnering fame for myself through other people’s work...the purpose is just to help! If I quote other sources it also serves to give them exposure at the very least, nothing malicious at all! I will sign my own thoughts as Reo so there is a clear distinction.

Movement - Reo

It is about the challenge, putting yourself to the test. Pushing the limits and exploring the edge of known possibility. It is the only way forward. Can you make it? Can you overcome? If life rewards action then movement is a constant. Movement, circulation, flux- it is the opposite of inaction, being stationary. Use it or lose it- otherwise it collects dust, rust and atrophy. Everything you are given is a privilege. Use it or it will be put to better use. Energy is never wasted and cannot be created. It flows towards what attracts it, and is repelled by that which resists it. What will you do today? All the possibility of the universe is at your disposal. You can use it, or ignore it. Inaction is also an action- only without reward.

You need to be quick and strong. Quick to make the right decisions, see the opportunity and decide decisively which way forward. Life does not wait, it presents opportunities for your disposal. So you need to be quick to take it. You need to be strong. When you have made the decision, you need to be able to stay the course, against the prevailing wind- how strong the current might be. How far can you go? This is the question you need to answer for yourself and carry that answer with you always. Can you go to the next corner? To the next day? Maybe as far as you know other people can go? As far as the eye can see? Or with total disregard into the completely unknown. Where the question is literally how far can the fibers of your existence carry you? and do you want to find out? There is something about finding the depth of your own character, that is both daunting and enlightening. You are presented with the gift of your own life. Use it, don’t use it. It’s fine to be content and realistic- but no pessimist ever discovered a new continent. A healthy disregard for the status quo is needed. Sail into the night, where the sunrise is hidden, promised, even whispered - but always that little voice- ‘what if it’s not there?’ guess that’s why it’s called a leap of faith.

Look up - Reo

Desire, Belief, Expectation
Think about what you want, believe that it is fully possible, expect it as you would expect the sun to rise- and it will come!
You are responsible for your life, it is yours and you have to figure it out
Dream Bigger
Anything is possible
Focus your thoughts on your goals
Everything will work in your favour
Happiness is not a destination, it’s a way of life
Every moment is a possibility for happiness
You are exactly where you want to be, whether you like it (or know it) or not
You are doing your best. If you knew better, you would have done better
I apply my genius everyday
I am open to anything and everything that comes my way
Life is just easier if you are positive, being negative is such hard work
You get what you give out, so why not give out your best
There is no failure, only lessons learnt
Everyday is bursting with opportunity- and it is all you have & all you need to think about. What will you do today to be a better self?

Look up, greet the day with a full breath of fresh air. Smell the possibility in every molecule before your eyes. Look your life in the eye. If something is wrong with what you see in your life, just fix it. Begin by thinking proactively. If this was someone else, what would you tell them? You can do something now, today to take a small step in the right direction. If you take a quiet moment, you will see your answer. Vibrating with a better frequency, where anything is possible- that is something you have already experienced, on that list of your top 5 days of your life- whether it was a birthday or an achievement, in that moment you felt it.

Taking action

Taking Action

The next step is to take action on your idea. Now here is where many people get lost -- what if you don't know what action to take? You may have an idea for a business, but should you get a loan, self-fund it, find a partner? The opportunites are endless - and confusing and overwhelming.

Napoleon Hill's advice is this. He says do not worry about the specific action you take. Just take any small step, any "baby step" toward your dream. You do not have to be 100% sure you're on the right track. You simply have to keep your thoughts focused on the dream and move forward. The Law of Attraction will do the rest. It will attract to you the exact right circumstances, meetings, opportunities, inspiration, people and offers you would need to move forward towards your dream.

The Process for Discovering Multiple Sources of Income

Ok, so you may understand the importance of Multiple Streams of Income but you may still be clueless as to how to find ideas that may bring you wealth.

This is where we use the Law of Attraction. You start by applying thought to what you wish to attract into your life -- in terms of work or career you should aim to have a job that you truly enjoy AND one that pays you enough so that you can live the life you desire.

Do not worry if you're not yet sure about how to reach this goal, for this is where the second part comes in.

Upon applying thought to this new life, you'll find that through random events, coincidences or inspiration, ideas will come to you. Ideas that will lead you to create this desired life. History is filled with stories of men and women who gained inspiration through unusual sources like dreams. You'll find this inspiration flowing to you too ONCE you set your mind on the vision of your ideal life.

The final stage is to follow the inspiration and take action -- all the while continuing to apply desire, belief and expectation that your ideal life will manifest.

Your body, then, is energy in a high speed of vibration, fed by thoughts and directives from your brain. Your brain as an object cannot actually think BUT you think with your brain. Albert Einstein’s brain is kept in a jar somewhere in New Jersey; however, it is not doing anyone any good because Albert is not with it! It was the flowing, moving energy into his brain and what he chose to DO with that flow that changed the face of our planet and made Albert’s brain
? famous.

Albert Einstein loved thinking. He was excited over the thoughts that surfaced. In fact, those who worked with him reported that he was often gleeful
? with an idea. This is exactly why Albert Einstein changed our world instead of just thinking about changing it. Albert got emotionally involved with his ideas. He visualized their physical result on the screen of his mind and, to everyone else’s surprise, those ideas became realities that changed our world’s perspective.

You have every ability to change the world just as he did. Albert Einstein had nothing on any other human being, not even you. He just knew how to move energy into theory, and theory into form.

The best part is that anyone can do this. We all have the same connections to the universal sources that gave inspiration to the likes of Einstein.

Napoleon Hill said:

The great artists, writers, musicians, and poets become great because they acquire the habit of relying upon the "still small voice" which speaks from within, through the faculty of creative imagination. It is a fact well known to people who have "keen" imaginations that their best ideas come through so-called "hunches"

~ Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

When you begin to see that idea take shape when it’s actually something you can touch and see and feel the result it’s an incredible, grateful moment. When I experience that moment myself, I’m always reminded of the quote from the great psychologist Alfred Adler “I am grateful for the idea that has used me”.

Multiple streams of income

Multiple Streams of Income

Did you know there are only 3 income earning strategies?

Strategy #1 - What 96% of the population do.

In the first instance, you trade your time for money.

This strategy does NOT work. It has an inherent problem... you run out of time. If you are able to put any money away using Strategy 1 it'll be at the expense of a life. You'll be compromising on the house you live in, the car you drive and the vacations you take, your family time, and more.

Strategy #2 - What 3% of the population do.

In the second instance, you're using money to generate more money. Whether it's investments in the property market or stocks, you make your money work for you through your own business or someone else's and collect the returns.

Simple as it sounds, so few people do this.

Strategy #3 - What the wiser 1% of the population do

This is the most Powerful Strategy of them all... when you Multiply Your Time. In this situation, you're no longer restricted by geographic boundaries or physical form. You've created several revenue streams by creating Multiple Sources of Income (MSI).

Become very familiar with the term "MSI" because it will lead you to complete financial independence.

In fact, as part of the Science of Getting Rich Seminar which we offer on this site, we include what might be a perfect MSI for you. Every Seminar purchase comes with a "business-in-a-box", a complete website with powerful technology and marketing tools that you can use to earn money while selling The Science of Getting Rich seminar.

It may sound unusual - providing an instant business to people who get the seminar but it made perfect sense. As soon as you setup your website and see leads and sales coming in, you change your mindset -- you instantly move from being an employee, or from being a single business owner -- into being a person with Multiple Streams of Income. This mind-shift causes even more income streams to be drawn towards you. It's the Law of Attraction at work.

Work

Are You Doing What You Love?

Somewhere in history, humankind picked up the false thought that we need to work on boring, day-to-day activities that we do not enjoy in order to survive.

We grow up in our programmed lives with the ridiculous idea that we have to go to work to earn money.

Nothing can be further from the truth. We should go to work for satisfaction. You want to spend your days doing what you love.

Doing what you want to do is LIFE! There is no real satisfaction in living if we are compelled to do something that we don’t like to do or that we’re expected to do. It’s as simple as that.

You can do what you want to do; your desire to do it is PROOF that you have within you the power to do it."

Jack Canfield writes:

See, the idea that we work for money is silly. It’s an old idea that’s been around for a long time, but that doesn’t mean there’s any TRUTH in it. When we created the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series (which went on to sell 100 million copies), it was’t our regular job.
? Mark Victor Hansen and I were still doing every day what we loved most. The Chicken Soup idea was an OTHER idea, a SIDE idea, believe it or not.

Bob Proctor discussed the setting up of MULTIPLE sources of income “ you WORK every day doing what you love, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the big breadwinner. True riches come from setting up multiple sources of income that, quite probably, are side ideas.
? Chicken Soup started out as just another source of income for us.

Now, granted, Chicken Soup proved a surprising source of income for us. This happened because we simply were following ALL the constructs that are being laid out in this book. Remember, Wallace Wattles has already taught us that you provide service to earn money. When you increase your service, you earn more money. Our Chicken Soup books have entertained more than 100 million people, but it’s obvious that I wasn’t there with those buyers, selling them their books, or reading the books aloud to their children. In fact I was sleeping when many of these books were being purchased and read. But I earned money on every one of them and I’ll earn money on them for the rest of my life, and my estate will earn money on them, because we found a way to increase our SERVICE by developing a SERIES of Chicken Soup books.

As Wallace Wattles said in the very first chapter of this book, you can only become rich when you expand your service beyond your current presence. And that’s just what we did. The Chicken Soup side idea
? proved a beautiful one. It resonated with millions of people in ways we can never possibly know and, as a result, it became ONE source of several multiple sources of income that both Mark Victor Hansen and I enjoy today.

Then, get your head around the most important aspect of this chapter “ DO what you LOVE, not what you HAVE to do. It may not happen over night, but it WILL happen when you make that decision.

The second you’ve finished with this lesson, I encourage you to sit down and make a written commitment that you are establishing your goal towards spending your days doing what you love, and setting up multiple sources of income to create the income stream strategies that so many people from all walks of life and education have employed to become wealthy. Sign that commitment and give it to someone you respect. I guarantee you your opportunities will begin to change immediately.

Action

The Secret of Wealth
Inspired Ideas and Definite Action

Wattles said,

"Thinking in the certain way will bring riches to you, but you must not rely on thought alone, paying no attention to personal action. This is the rock upon which many otherwise scientific metaphysical thinkers meet shipwreck “the failure to connect thought with personal action."

Bob Proctor told an interesting story about having breakfast one day with Earl Nightingale, the co-founder of the globally successful Nightingale-Conant corporation. Bob explained that he was fascinated with the great volume of business that Earl Nightingale took care of, but even more particularly with the way Earl seemed to move in a calm, confident manner. He never appeared to be rushed. So, one day at breakfast, Bob asked Earl how he had mastered time management. Earl laughed and said, I’ve never mastered time management. Nobody masters time management. Time cannot be managed. I merely manage activities. Each night, I write down on a sheet of paper a list of the things I have to accomplish the next day. And when I wake up I do them.

Without ACTION, there is no attraction!

As a final note, I’d like to remind you that your list should be aggressive, but don’t try to shove 170 activities into a single day. You won’t get anywhere on that plan either. Remember what Wallace Wattles reminds us of: Your action must be in your present business or employment. It must be upon the persons and things in your present environment. You cannot act where you are not. You cannot act where you have been, and you cannot act where you are going to be. You can only act where you are. Do not dwell on whether yesterday’s work was well or poorly done. Do today’s work well. Do not try to do tomorrow’s work now. There will be plenty of time to do that when tomorrow comes. If you take care of the action, the attraction will always take care of itself."

Time management

We all have 24 hours a day. What differentiates us is how we choose to use them. Anthony Robbins

Covey and co. might have us believe that time management is the key to the holy grail of personal effectiveness. It is not that I disagree it is just that this philosophy assumes that we are all created equal.
Take my friend Frances, a high performer, she loves to plan, she makes lists every day and even prioritises what is on her list. She knows the difference between urgent and important and on the whole manages to complete an above average amount of tasks in the day. I am sure that if I asked her she would say that she was effective. The question is by who
s definition is she effective?

We allocate time for meetings, sales calls, client visits, business development; the list goes on.  Add to this all of your non-work related activity: go to the gym, dinner with friends, time with children, sleep
to achieve even 75% requires us all to be incredibly disciplined. When are we allowed to be spontaneous? How and when do we allocate time for creativity or just time to think?
Have you ever noticed when life seems to be effortless, when it feels like the whole world is on your side? Granted you probably did some planning, however I am sure that it had more to do with your mind set then your plan. So the next time you want to be really effective start with a holistic definition  rather than reduce the essence of your life to a series of actions on a to do list.
Until next time, in leadership, Susi and the Ekin Coaching team.

For other people

when we really understand the fact of separate realities, we will stop spending so much time and energy trying to change the reality of others. Coming to believe that we all have valid perspectives on every experience is akin to coming to believe that there is a Higher Power in charge of our lives. Its liberating, even exhilarating, to realize that we all see situations a bit differently. its like going from a black and white picture to technicolor. our experiences are enriched as we view them with new attitudes. How i see my experiences today is up to me; how my friends see theirs is up to them. my view may complement theirs, but its mine, solely.

almost everyone wants something for nothing. wanting anything for free is human nature perhaps. however many of us have had to learn again and again that you get what you pay for. this is true of human interactions too. why do we think that others will be there for us if we aren't available for them? having friends means being a friend, even if it's time-consuming. although friendships rewards are indisputable, we still tend to wait, letting the other person make the first move. getting the other person to commit first reduces our effort, perhaps, but we will still receive according to what we give.
knowing and utilizing this principle simplifies our lives. once we master it, we never forget it. and what we bring to our relationships will be given back to us.

I am willing to give to others what i want in return today. their efforts will match my own.

Mind's eye

there is an intuitive core at the depth of your being. When we can keep our ego small, our humility large, we'll understand clearly why we are here, what we need to know, what we have to do. I am wise. The knowledge I need today will rise to my mind's eye.

Quiet

to be quiet is to be focused. our inner dialogue often interrupts our focus. how seldom we manage to throw our entire being into the present moment.
learning to be quiet is not difficult, enven though it doesn't come naturally to most of us. we are used to racing around. it doesn't occur to us that life can be experienced in another way. once we grow accustomed to slowing down, quieting the clatter of our thoughts, we experience a sense of peace: the knowledge of the spirit within.

success

15 Things That May Be Killing Your Success
Posted by Paul Piotrowski

It is often very difficult to really see the true reasons behind our inability to achieve the results we want in life. It’s almost as if we’re completely blind to the truth. Of course this is hardly surprising, considering the fact that our Ego’s are constantly working on hiding the truth from us because our Ego’s don’t want us to see our own faults.

It is for this exact reason I began working with success coaches about 16 months ago and I’ve grown in leaps and bounds. It is so much easier for someone else to see what is really blocking us from achieving a goal like making money doing what we love.

But what if you don’t have a coach to work with right now? Well, I’d like to identify a list of some of the more common areas that have stopped me from achieving what I want in life in the past, and perhaps it may help you identify the most likely culprit for your specific situation.
1. Fear
Fear comes in many, many flavors. It is an all-encompassing Ego centered energy that basically has only one single agenda - PROTECT THE EGO AT ALL COST. Rooted at the core of our being, fear’s job is to protect us. However, in order for us to really explore the world and do what we want to do and to enjoy life we have to venture past fear. There really is no point living life if you’re going to barricade yourself in some bunker and live in complete fear of everything around you. In order to
make money <http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/2008/04/22/15-things-that-may-be-killing-your-success/#>  doing what we love we have to get really good at identifying our fears. We all have our fears, and that’s ok.

Becoming aware of what our fears are, however, will help you to move forward. If for example you want to get into a career as a professional sales person, but you have a strong fear of rejection, it might be difficult to pick-up the phone to make sales calls. If you have a fear of public speaking, it may be difficult to pursue your passion of becoming a stand-up comedian. A great way of knowing if fear is stopping you, is to ask yourself “If I was completely fearless, what would I do?” and look at the answers that pop into your head. It will show you clearly what fear is stopping you from doing right now.
2. Laziness
A close cousin to fear is laziness. It is important to be able to distinguish between the two though, because you may find it very frustrating to not be able to do something consistently for a period of time and think that you’re being lazy, when in fact it is fear that is stopping you. For example, if you’re a sales person and you have to make outgoing phone-calls and you have a fear of rejection, it may be your fear that’s stopping you from hitting your goal of making 10 calls per day, not the fact that you’re lazy.

Ask yourself if you’re being lazy or if it’s really fear that’s stopping you. If you make a decision to visualize your dreams for 5 minutes every morning and you don’t do it, chances are that it is laziness that’s stopping you, not fear, because why would anyone have a fear of visualizing?
3. Limiting Beliefs
Very few people realize that it may be their limiting beliefs that are stopping them. For example, imagine if you’re trying to build a successful business that allows you to retire early in life but you have a deep-routed limited belief hidden in your subconscious mind that states that “Money is the root of all evil.” or that “Rich people are evil and they became rich by stepping over other people.”

Limiting beliefs are like shackles that hold you back. You can be taking positive action, you can be visualizing, you can be doing what you’re supposed to be doing, but you seem to find yourself always self-sabotaging your success. That’s how limiting beliefs work. They work behind the scenes to orchestrate failure. Most of us have some form of limiting beliefs around our dreams. Dig deep to find yours. Once you’re unshackled from your limiting beliefs you will feel a lot lighter and a lot more energized to move forward and live your dream like making money doing what you love.
4. In-congruent Identity
You have to make sure that whatever it is that you’re pursuing as a way of making money doing what you love fits in with your identity. You identity will grow throughout your life and you have to be willing to re-invent yourself constantly. For example, I used to be a programmer <http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/2008/04/22/15-things-that-may-be-killing-your-success/#> . That was my identity. I acted like a programmer, I dressed like a programmer, I got paid like a programmer.

As my experience in the business world grew I had to re-invent myself and I had to change some things about my identity. For example, if I wanted to build a career in sales, I would have to make sure that my identity includes the personality trait of starting conversations and smiling at people. As a programmer that may not have been a big deal, but as a sales person that may be super important.

Identify some of the personality traits and identity traits <http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/2008/04/22/15-things-that-may-be-killing-your-success/#>  that would make up your character if you were already making money doing what you love. How is that different from who you are today? Are you willing to change?
5. Lack of Focus
Lack of focus is a big one for most people. Focus can be very easily controlled by controlling the habitual questions you allow yourself to ask yourself inside your head. If you’re constantly asking yourself questions like “How else can I be of value?” you will focus on totally different things in life compared to if you’re always asking yourself questions like “What if I don’t succeed?” or “How will I pay my rent this month?”

Get clear on the types of questions you’re asking yourself and identify where those questions force your focus.
6. Poor Habits
Habits are super important. If you can master the force of habits in your life you can do almost anything. If you do not understand how habits work and you simply allow them to run your life, it is going to be very difficult to achieve any long-term level of success in your life. Poor habits produce poor results. Rich habits produce rich results.
7. Lack of a Clear Vision
This is another big one. Do you have a crystal clear vision of what you WANT? Or do you focus all your time talking about what you DON’T want? Create a vision for yourself. You absolutely, positively must know exactly what you want and have a clear vision of it if you hope to achieve it.
8. Inability to Establish Relationships
No man or woman is an island. We live on this planet Earth as citizens of a common planet. Learn to establish human relationships, even if it’s only over the Internet <http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/2008/04/22/15-things-that-may-be-killing-your-success/#> . You don’t have to be best friends with everyone in the world, but building strong personal relationships based on integrity and trust will be paramount to your ability to make money doing what you love.
9. Not Asking for What You Want
Most people are afraid to ask for what they want. Don’t be one of these people. Just decide right now that you’re going to ASK for what you want. You may not get it, but at least you asked. I was at Swiss Chalet today picking up an order of food my wife ordered over the phone. When you order over the phone there is a platter combo that they don’t offer you unless you eat-in at the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant I asked them if there is a way that they can offer me the platter combo. They were happy to offer it to me, which saved me $4 on my order.

Did I ask for the combo to save $4 though? No, I asked because I am establishing a habit of asking for what I want. They didn’t have to give it to me. I would have been ok if they said no, but I wouldn’t have been ok with myself for not asking. How can you ever expect to have healthy relationships with people on Earth if you never ask for what you want. Unless you surround yourself with Psychics, you’ll always be disappointed. Just ASK!
10. Lack of Persistence
Persistence is a major key to success. You have to learn to clearly identify what it is that you want and to pursue it with all your energy. The universe favors those who have the persistence to stick to what they want. How could you be more persistent on your quest to make money by doing what you love?
11. Lack of Confidence
Self-Confidence is not something we are all automatically born with. Instead, it is something that we are always either building up or tearing down. Don’t mistake self-confidence as your ability to always succeed. Self-Confidence can be built up even during times of temporary failure. It is how you react and conduct yourself during the darkest hours that will build your confidence. How would you rate your self-confidence right now at your job? How would you rate your self-confidence at being able to make money by doing what you love? What can you do to build up your confidence levels?
12. Lack of Action
Ah, the great equalizer. This is where the rubber meets the road. Not everything requires massive action to be taken all the time, but at some point in time you are going to have to take action. You may be doing everything right, and your inability to make money by doing what you love may simply boil down to the fact that so far you haven’t taken enough action.
13. Lack of Purpose
If you don’t know WHY you’re doing something it is very difficult to get yourself to do it long term. Have you identified your passions and purpose in life? Maybe this is where you’re stuck right now; not knowing what it really is that you want to do.
14. Distorted View of Reality
Are you deluding yourself? Are you trying to build a $20,000/month income producing Blog in 90 days and you’re only investing 15-20 minutes into it per week? Are you trying to become the next American Idol and the only person who’s ever said that you have a good voice is your mom?

I’m not saying you can’t be or do whatever it is that you’re passionate about, but it is important to get clear on the work that may be required to become the person who you want to become.
15. Unclear Values
Get clear on what your personal values are. If your personal values don’t align with doing what you love for money, it may be impossible to sustain a level of success long term. If you don’t know what your values are, learn how to identify them <http://www.inspiredmoneymaker.com/2007/10/28/how-to-know-what-your-values-are/> .

Maybe the best thing to do is to print this list out and circle the ones your intuition thinks may be the likely culprits and then begin working on improving each one on its own. If there are specific ones on the list that you would like me to go into more depth in my future articles, don’t hesitate to ask by leaving a comment and letting me know which ones are stopping you.

Coffee

Subject: Coffee or cup?
A group of alumni, all highly established in their respective careers, got together for a visit with their old university professor.  The conversation soon turned to complaints about the endless stress of work and life in general.  Offering his guests coffee, the professor went into the kitchen and soon returned with a large pot of coffee and an eclectic assortment of cups:  porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal - some plain, some expensive, some quite exquisite.  Quietly he told them to help themselves to some fresh coffee.
When each of his former students had a cup of coffee in hand, the old professor quietly cleared his throat and began to patiently address the small gathering:
"You may have noticed that all of the nicer looking cups were taken up first, leaving behind the plainer and cheaper ones While it is only natural for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is actually the source of much of your stress-related problems"  He continued, "Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee.  In fact, the cup merely disguises or dresses up what we drink. What each of you really wanted was coffee, not a cup, but you instinctively went for the best cups.  Then you began eyeing each other's cup. Now consider this:
Life is coffee.  Jobs, money, and position in society are merely cups. They are just tools to shape and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not truly define nor change the quality of the Life we live. Often, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee that life has provided us. Life provides the coffee, but does not supply the cups. Enjoy your coffee!"
The happiest people don't have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.  So please remember:  Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply.  Speak kindly.
And remember--- the richest person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least.

Good days

some days really are as good as a bowl of cherries. thank goodness i now know what to do with the pits.
our attitude defines who we are and what we do with the tribulations that trip us. when we are confident or relaxed about the events in our lives, they usually unfold smoothly. on the other hand, when we are nervous or controlling, we can count on trouble. we get what we get in this life. what really matters is how we respond to it. taking control of our attitude is all that's necessary.
i can take what comes and make a blessing of it, both for me and someone els. we learn and grow by sharing our experiences, strength and hope.

Motivation from stef du plessis

Success, they say, is a product of attitude, not aptitude. A 1986 a
study conducted among mothers from America and Japan posed this
question: "What is the one thing that your child needs in order to be
successful?"

The Western mothers, predictably, said "ability". But those from the
East rightly said, "effort".  The Japanese mothers were right. Life is
about effort, not about ability.

Here's more proof: Dr Bloom from the University of California conducted
a study to find what turns people into top achievers. He explains that,
prior to the study, he thought that the outcome of the study would
indicate that successful people were those who were naturally talented,
or who had a special flair.

Instead, what he found were great musicians... who practiced until their
fingers bled, famous singers... who sang until they were hoarse. Writers
who kept on submitting their scripts to publishers until they found one
that would publish them - no matter how long it took.

Sure he found the odd "naturally talented" individual who achieved some
success, almost in spite of themselves, but, on the whole, the ranks of
the successful were not filled by people with aptitude, but rather, by
people with attitude - those who kept on trying when the odds seem
stacked against them.

Next time the odds seem high against you, try one more time. It may just
be what was needed.

Interesting cancer research

EVERYONE WILL FIND THIS VERY INFORMATIVE. I ONLY WISH IT WAS AS EASY TO FOLLOW AS IT IS TO UNDERSTAND.
AFT
ER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY ('TRY', BEING THE KEY WORD) TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY
Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a.
Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc. are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular lev els wi thin 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave
.
Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
</ FONT>Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Action Without Aligned Thinking is Futile

Comments: 13 Posted by : Paul Piotrowski

Very often we get so caught up in the busyness of everyday life that we don’t take the time to really get clear on what we want and to align our thoughts in that direction.  This is even more common during the transition phases of our lives.

I’ve been reading through some books on Law of Attraction again lately and especially the new “Money and the Law of Attraction” book by Esther Hicks.  Very good book by the way.  There is one sentence in the book that I absolutely love and I think it really spoke to me because I may have been committing this mistake in my life lately.

“No amount of action can compensate for misaligned thought.”

I absolutely love that line.  When I read it, I felt like someone just smacked me in the forehead.  This is stuff I already know, yet I’ve been making this exact mistake lately - getting so busy “taking action” that I haven’t made time to just sit, relax, visualize and get my thoughts aligned on what I truly want from life.

I actually sit down to think and write in my journal pretty much every single night, but what I haven’t been doing is I haven’t been really allowing myself to dream a little bit and visualizing and getting myself in an emotional state of joy and alignment with what I truly want.  Instead I’ve been “strategizing” and trying to think my way through the process.

Law of Attraction will attract whatever we predominantly focus on in our lives and since I’ve been predominantly focusing on problem solving, strategy, productivity, and creating content, I’ve been attracting more and more of that into my life.  These are all wonderful things, and there’s nothing wrong with creating content, and solving problems and strategy and all that, but these are all just “things we do” on our journey towards what we truly want.

What I haven’t been doing is really setting time aside to dream, to visualize what I really want and trying to get myself into a place where I’m sending out “I already have this” vibrations.  There is a big difference in sending out “I want this” vibrations and “I already have this” vibrations when it comes to Law of Attraction.

A lot of people will make a statement like “I want to make money doing what I love” but really what they are saying is that CURRENTLY they are not making money doing what they love.  This type of vibration will attract more of the same, so they will continue to NOT make money doing what they love, but instead their WANTINGNESS of making money doing what they love will increase.  Meaning, they still won’t make money doing what they love, but their desire for it will continue to increase and so will their level of frustration.

The real “secret” with Law of Attraction is to realize that we must first BE in the state that we desire to be in, in order to have the things that we want to attract which we hope will put us in that state.  I know that’s a mouth-full.  Basically what I mean is that let’s say that you want a new car.  The reason you want the new car is because your old one keeps crapping out and the last time it died, it happened on the highway and you couldn’t even pull off the road and it was very embarrassing for you to stand there in the middle of the highway waiting for the tow truck to arrive.  It was at that moment that you created the desire for a new car.

Since then you’ve been getting into your old car every morning and you’ve been sending out “I don’t want this car!” vibes every single day.  You’ve taken action to try to make a new car come into your life, but nothing is working.  You’ve tried taking on some overtime work in order to save up for a down payment on a new car, but as soon as you saved up some money the hot water tank in your house blew and ate through your savings.  You tried to apply for credit to afford a new car, but you found out someone’s been using your credit card and your credit has been damaged.  No matter which direction you try to go in, bringing that new car into your life just isn’t happening.

This is most likely due to the fact that your thoughts are not aligned with your actions.  You’re trying to “solve” the problem at the level of action, bypassing the more important step of aligning your thoughts.

You can’t ever attract what you want in life by focusing on what you don’t want.  That is impossible.  You must realize that the things that you don’t want in life, such as a piece of crap car that breaks down in the middle of the highway are only there to provide you with the contrast you need to determine what you DO want.  Once they provide you with the contrast, and you are able to see what you DO want by experiencing what you DON’T want, it’s time to let go of those contrasting thoughts.  Meaning, once you attract a contrasting item which shows you what you don’t want from you life, use it to get super clear on what you DO want and then forget about it.  Don’t obsess over it, or you’ll never get rid of it from your life.

If your old car died on the highway and you felt unsafe and embarrassed, get over it.  It died, you realized it was time to get a new car, no point crying about it for the next three years.  It was there in your life to provide you contrast so that you could get clear as to what you want.  You made the decision to get a new car, now focus strictly on that direction and it will manifest a lot quicker in your life.

What does this mean?  This means giving no energy towards your old car.  If you need to drive it for a while longer while you create the new car of your dreams in your life, be OK with that.  Don’t resist it.  Don’t get into your old car and slam the door calling it a piece of crap.  Don’t curse at it when it won’t start on the first turn of the key.  Don’t tell stories to everyone at work about how crappy your car is and how your life is ruined because of this crappy car you’ve got.  Don’t curse at the TV when you see the same manufacturer as your crappy car doing commercials.  All these types of things just prolong how long you’ll keep your car because you are unconsciously attracting it into your life and keeping it’s replacement out of the picture.

So what should you do? Start telling a different story.  Start talking about the new car you’ll be getting.  Start noticing the commercials on TV of the new car manufacturer you really want, and get excited when they come on.  Even if you can’t afford that car, start visualizing it.  Close your eyes and imagine yourself driving that car.  Go on their websites and pick out the color you want and the options package.  Put 100% of your “thought energy” to your new car, and 0% towards complaining about your old car.

The same goes for careers, relationships, cars, toys, health, and anything else you want from your life.  You’ll never attract what you want in life by putting all your mental energy into trying to run away from what you don’t want.  Even if you get yourself to take all the action in the world towards achieving your goals, they will never materialize if the action steps you’re taking are done with “stinkin thinkin” going on in the background.

How much time are you spending taking “action” towards becoming an Inspired Money Maker in a given week?

How much time are you spending visualizing and getting your thoughts aligned on becoming an Inspired Money maker in a given week?

Ask yourself these questions because it’s important that you have these in proper balance.  Without aligned thinking, action is futile no matter how much of it you take.

This also means that if you want to make money doing what you love, stop telling people stories about how much you hate your job and how crappy things are at work, and how much your boss sucks and how you hate working in that hell-hole etc.  Focus on what you WANT, not on what you DON’T WANT.

From stef du plessis

You only get to see what lies beyond the horizon when you get there... equally, you have to go the distance before you get a glimpse of what's inside you.

We all know this to be true. But while this powerful philosophy can lead us to greatness, it also brings risk because we often wish for what lies beyond, rather than embracing where we are at in the present.

In fact, if it is true that we have to first go as far as we can see before we can see any further, then it also implies that there is no failure. Each step is victorious because each steps leads to the next step... which leads to the next... and the next.

Consider this: If we were to follow our tracks back from whatever destination we reach, no matter how high the pinnacle or how great the achievement, if we were to follow our tracks back to where we started, we will find that each step was entirely necessary. No steps were wasted, for without each step, there was no progress. So, as long as we make our way beyond each and every setback, there are no failures. Failure is only failure when it becomes a destination, if we stop and take no more new steps.

Yet somehow we continue to live our lives as if the destination will hold the key to our happiness: When I get to big school, when I graduate, get a job, get married, get back from honeymoon, have children, after they children leave home, after my retirement... Always after!!

We keep on wishing that our in-trays could be empty, worrying about what may happen... not living in the moment. We fail to understand that happiness is not a distant destination at which we have yet to arrive.

Happiness and contentment is a way of being. They are inside of us, if only we want to get on with living life! Happiness is right where you are now - but you have to make it your own. Stop wasting time. Understand that there is no distant finishing line that marks "success".

Become who you were meant to be and only then will you see that you can be even more. But cherish the journey for now, it's all you have.

big step

"Don't be afraid to take a big step if one is indicated. You can't cross a chasm in two small steps."

Money

Money and the Law of Attraction
Are you in a negative space right now? Feeling like your life is not within your control?
If so, I recommend… The new book by Esther and Jerry Hicks: ‘Money and the Law of Attraction’. It’s probably the most helpful and empowering book I’ve read this year.
I have been feeling so inspired that I now set aside a 20 minute period of time in my schedule to visualize good-feeling things happening in my life. It’s amazing to see how this is impacting my life and my mood.
My question to you is…are you consciously and CONSISTENTLY using the law of attraction to create what you want? In one of my readings, I ask clients to tell me, on a scale of 1-30 to what degree that client is using the law of attraction to deliberately create the life they want. Most clients get around 15-16 out of 30. Those clients usually tell me that they are actually using the law of attraction consciously, but then they also reveal that they are self-sabotaging by expecting the worst all the time, and focusing on what they don’t want as well. You can’t focus on what you do want AND consistently focus on what you don’t want and expect to feel good.
If like most of my clients, you’re about at 16/30 on the law of attraction scale, then you probably rate your life at about 6 out of 10 at the moment. So how can you get to a 10?
1. Get really clear on what exactly would constitute a 10 out of 10 (i.e great) life for you
Don’t use the excuse that you can’t have the life you want. Dare to dream. I recently went to a business workshop and the facilitator gave us ten minutes to imagine our dream working day and write it down. We then had to present our description of our dream day to our group. This was a great exercise because it put us under pressure and we had to bring our dreams out onto paper. There are many dreams inside you which could become part of your reality. But they can never become part of your reality if you don’t allow them to exist first in your thoughts and admit you want them.
2. Identify the feeling behind the intention
Understand that behind every intention like ‘I want to make more money’ or ‘I want a life partner’, there is a desire for a certain feeling, like love or abundance or freedom. Identifying WHY you want something helps you to visualize it better. For example, if you want to earn more money, then visualizing pots and pots of money probably isn’t going to excite you. But what may excite you is imagining the freedom more money will bring. Imagine yourself enjoying your abundance with your family and friends or helping others with your money, for example. That is much more likely to generate the feelings of excitement needed to begin creating your desired intention.
3. Eliminate negative input in your life
The sort of input which tells you that you can’t have a 10/10 life, or that you don’t deserve one - this includes your own negative self-talk. If you don’t know where to even start with that, that’s definitely an intention you need to put out there! Once you do that, you begin to attract the people and resources that can help you.
4. Enjoy your 10/10 life…
…in your imagination! To begin with, it doesn’t even have to be for a long period of time. Abraham says that focusing on a good-feeling thought for just 68 seconds changes your vibrational resonance if you’re feeling bad.
5. Realize that the most important thing is not external circumstances, but how you feel.
How you feel indicates whether or not you’re going in the direction of your desired outcome. So you need to have good-feeling thoughts, whether they ‘match’ your external reality or not. If it’s difficult for you to have good-feeling thoughts, instead begin by visualize good-feeling things.
6. Remind yourself often that you are the empowered creator of your life.
Invest in books and other resources and visit websites which leave you feeling empowered and in control of your life.

Life is made of millions of moments,
but we live only one of these moments at a time.
As we begin to change this moment, we begin to change our lives.

Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible,
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
— Francis of Assisi

the two wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people.
He said, 'My son, We all have two wolves inside us – and there is a battle between these 'two wolves'.

'One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.'

'The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, 'Which wolf wins?'

The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'
